Having problems with Eclipse 3.4.2 + Proj-X Transfer?

Transfer is currently incompatible with Eclipse v3.4.2, there seems to be a problem where it registers its menu items and settings page. I’ll look into this as soon as I can, in the mean time please stick with v3.4.1 or remove Transfer until I can get this fixed.

  1. Hi,
I was looking for an FTP plugin for eclipse and I found yours and seems really good.

I’m using eclipse 3.4.2 and is actually working without problems.

In every project I use I have a “deploy” folder and when I try to upload a file to the ftp server every time it creates a “deploy” folder and puts my files there. Is there a way to use the deploy folder as it is the root of the project?

    Thanks a lot

Hi Riccardo, Glad to hear its working for you, it does mostly work in 3.4.2, but it can be a very flakey (especially with PDT). As for you question, I’m afraid not, Transfer treats the root of your project as your root deployment directory.

The only thing I can suggest is you create a seperate project called “X Deploy” which just points to your deploy folder, then upload the files via that project, rather than your “master” one.

I’m looking to completely rewrite Transfer and I will ensure to some feature for this.
